My head was about to explode if I saw Eli on it. Despite Eli two Championships, he's still on the same level as Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman, guys that are good QBs with a ton of SB wins. I still think Peyton Manning is the best pure passing NFl QB ever if you take out the Superbowl's.

yeah no way eli, would barely make my top 13.
peyton in my top 8 but very hard to put him in top 5 - was between him and marino at #5 and had to give marino the edge despite no rings. marino = best pure passer ever.

Tough to rate qb's from different eras as the rules have changed through the years which help out the qb more, especially since the "Mel Blount" rule was put in.
Baugh, Otto Graham, and others were great.
Not a bad list though.

starr is a guy that modern fans have a problem with and i can see why, but all the classic nfl guys have him #1 so i respect that for a top 5 nod.

Yeah, I wouldn't have Starr top 5 either. I'm not a NE fan, but Brady is up there.

Yeah I should switch Unitas to 3 & Starr to 4 but still have to keep him in top 5 for NFL old timer sakes.
