and 5000 on a series...... (even thought both were extremely safe bets) well that is away from vegas.... i wont disclose some of the risky bets i made in vegas....

$7K, was a losing bet, but my balance was $14K at the book (Canbet) and I started a nice run with my initial deposit of $1850. I had made 5 winning bets of $2500 and got overconfident. This was during NHL playoffs last season.

I took a big shot and lost this one but overall had a winning playoffs.

In 2000 I made a $5,000 bet on an Aussie Rules game. It was the money line to win $1,500. I had my balance up to $15,000 w/ Canbet and lost a couple dime bets. I won this bet and cashed out for $11,000.


All of my recent "moves" bet when I have been up have lost though $2000ish. When I am up I try to makea move, but usually lose.

I layed the pts in the Steelers vs Seahawks for an easy cash in the superbowl ........... but i lost about 3k roughly in a 3 month spand when MLB started , and actually ended up about 6 k into sept and football came around and lost 2k untill the end of the year so basically i use the winnings from that SB pick throughout the whole year in 06-07
