Exactly. When the books offer -3 with plus money for a Brady team the squares will just be throwing money at the -2 1/2. The books know what they are doing.

It was a battle of the squares. Cinderella story vs Brady. Giants had huge public support, though I can see how the last minute impulsive types would've gone for the "safe option" & the Pats ML.
