The Superbowl is no different from any other game really - if you are betting just for the sake of it (on any game) then likely you are square.

Superbowl props on the other hand I have found to be quite profitable over the last few years - with so many different companies offering so many different props then there can be some good value to be found if you put the time in searching for it, and on Player Yardage props you can often find huge middles...though the 30 + 40cent lines that a lot of books offer on these still means that you have to pick your spots sometimes.
