I love Detroit...I know they've been shit as a road fav over the years but they have HUGE matchup advantages here! Roy Williams, Johnson, and McDonald at WR vs Atl's unproven corners. Don't forget they shipped DeAngelo Hall to Oakland! Detroit can load the box on the Falcons and Ryan won't be able to do much in his first start! My boy Phil Steele has the Lions 28-10....I doubt it will be that easy but I'm playing them minus 3!!

Playing at Atlanta isn't really a road game anyway....more like playing at a neutral site. Those fans suck!

at first glance, it seems crazy that detroit is a road fave, but detroit is likely a much better team w/kitna right now than the falcons are with ryan at the helm and a new coach

Im going to this game but am staying away from it. Detroit looks like the pick with their receivers going against the falcons corners but the feel down here is if theres a game on the schedule the falcons can win its this one at home to kick off the season and I wouldnt be surprised if they did win. The game was almost blacked out down here so this could be the falcons one chance to get their fans excited somewhat about them and turn the page from the vick era. The falcons are going to have a good running game and will surprise some people this year, will they win today? Who knows but Im staying away from either side.
