So who gets the 2nd team? LA get 2? San Antonio? Toronto? London?

I vote for Austin to finally get a pro sports team. Sure, it's a smaller city but I think a team would succeed there. Much like the Thunder in OKC has. Austin is a city that loves football. San Antonio is less than an hour away. Won't happen but it's nice to dream.

34 makes no sense at all. They'd have to change all the divisions and go with 2 in each conference and just seed the playoff teams from there.

if they add teams they will need to add 4 teams total. that gives 36 teams: realign to 3 divisions of 6 in each conference.

Teams play 10 division games and 6 from a rotating division in the opposite conference and the like finisher in the two divisions in the same conference. go to an 18 game schedule, start the season two weeks earlier, chop two preason games, add an additional bye week during the season so the season ends one week later. When is the next CBA up?
