It's nothing really new this year. He's never played much defense.

yeah he was never good, and it was obvious last year, as the rest of the Bulls progressed under Thibs...

he was supposed to have lost weight, gotten stronger and quicker during the off-season. but to me he looks another half step slower

The thread is about defense. So I assume he's talking strictly defense.

I think he's wrong on that count though. Korver's defense has improved, he tries. He's never going to have quick enough feet against some guys, but he's smart and has some size to play against most guys, except certain exceptionally quick wings.

Guy is 20 years old. 6"10 and can shoot the ball. First thing that comes to mind when looking at highlights is Dirk

If he keep developing then imagine the pick and pop in 2-3 years with a 26 year old Rose and when this guy is 23.

Meh, doesn't really matter because jo is an elite defender so he defends the elite PF's. That's why Miami is such a good matchup for the bulls, Noah guards bosh and boozer gets to defend there atrocious crop of centers.

Only time it becomes a problem is if they face a 4-5 combo like the lakers
