they probably insured this. Or just put the amount of pizzas made into their advertising dollars. Instead of doing a during the game ad costing 3.5 mil to 6 mil they did this deal.

The labor is essentially already paid for to make that extra pizza. It only really costs the raw ingredients which probably cost less then a dollar a pizza.

Add the free advertising they get from this (see this thread) they are hoping this is plus ev for them.

I don't know why you assume a "location" has only 200 (free) rewards members. You don't have to belong to a store, PJ's is national, you're just a member in general.

I'm saying demographically there are about 200 rewards members per store.

There's a Papa Johns down the street from my house. I doubt there are over 200 rewards members in the area that order pizza from that location.

i'm guessing the pizzas cost them more like $.25 to make, they might even get their soda free from pepsi for the promotion. they are going to kill it regardless with this promotion even though their pizza is shit

A pizza costs them about $2 to make.. Ill use Big Days #... 5 million users have rewards account... maybe half will actually follow through and claim it. Add in, half of those will probably order something else to go with with pizza + the advertising they received... not a bad move.
