The line tomorrow is Portland -3 @ Sacramento. I don't see how they don't win by more than 3 points. I am sure most of their starters got to sit the fourth quarter because they were up by 40 points. The only reason I think this line would be so low is if someone got hurt. Does anyone know ? I am going to do an open parlay right now with Portland for all my balance of $380 and one open spot that I can put a ML in tomorrow. I want to have $1000 extra for Vegas this weekend and have one more day to do it. I just don't want to commit to Portland then find out someone like Aldridge got hurt. Any info?

although port won big.. they were at home.. charlotte is arguably the worst team in nba and off a 30 pt loss the night before (on long road trip).. and port is now on a b2b themselves (traveling now) and playing at sacramento, who may stink.. but they have one of the tougher home floors.
with all this being said I think port wins.. but it isnt going to be by too high past double digits to go cheering bout

Cool. Portland has struggled some on the road, but I think they win it. I haven't tried parlays much. What are you thinking the rest of your parlay may look like? Only one more team? Or several?Comment -

Only one more team. A favorite on the money line. I will see in the morning what looks good. I should be able to find one. Miami screwed me on one of these tonight. Had a 6 teamer 50/293 and Miami was up 17 points in the second quarter. They sucked ass, if this happens again to me tomorrow then that would suck ass.
I know this isn't a home game and the are playing a back to back but none of the starters played the fourth quarter. Aldridge said he doesn't remember only playing 26 minutes in his whole career. Memphis is one of those teams that screws me somehow whenever I bet on them or against them. They are so hot/cold. I don't think I would take Atlanta -4. If anything I would take Atlanta on the ML. I like Duke too but again ML. They haven't been so sharp the last few games.Comment -

Great idea Stash though I don't feel too confident on betting the SB yet. I am leaning towards NE but honestly I just don't know for sure. I would rather have the cash to spread out on the side, total, and props while in Vegas. yeah this line is really weird. Their is already RLM on this game. Not sure how many bets it is based off of, but according to thespread, 87% is on Portland and the line opened at POR -4 and is already down to -3. Could this be a big trap?

yes, -6 even though they play bad during road trips but they are against sac & sac isn't scary for blazers head to head at all.

Can someone explain to me what qualifies as a "trap" game. I know that it has something to do with how the line changes before the game maybe? I am brand new to betting and gambling of any kind. Portland is a weird team.....At home they are one of, if not, the best team in the league.....When they are away, they are average at best
Still, they don't have to travel much and are well rested

Sacramento plays well against Portland even though they caught a beat down last time they met. But Portland was at home then and don't think the Portland line is free money because if the Queens decide to play, they can beat this Portland team.Comment -
not going to bet on portland on the road for awhile. On the road they morph into this unrecognizable and extremely lazy team that just sits around passing the ball around the perimeter like a hot potato taking turns on 20+ foot jumpshots.. totally forgetting how to rebound and totally forgetting what defense is in the process.
They just got their asses kicked in Golden State and if they can lose convincingly in GS and places like Detroit recently they can certainly lose in Sac.Comment -
The line was also pretty ridiculous right after Portland beat the Lakers at home in front of millions on national tv. The Blazers then went to Phoenix the following night and the line was only -2.... 90% of the people bet on Portland, and of course they did with that low line and just witnessing the blazers taking apart and throttling the lakers.
Well the very next night Portland got their asses kicked again on the road losing to Phx by 30..
Their identity as a team totally changes on the road, so beware. It would not surprise me whatsoever if Sac lays the wood on emComment -

Wallace has been terrible on road. Batum's outside shooting kept them close at Utah. Aldridge and Crawford will need to score alot.
Matthews and Felton can shoot poorly from perimeter on road.

I'm hearing Thornton may be back tonight for the Kings. He is very important to that team as he does all the little things well, and has nights when he can really chip in on the scoreboard. Every team needs those types of guys.Comment
