Legendary Angelo Dundee dead at 90!
These thing's come in 3's. First Don Cornelius, then Angelo Dundee...who's next.

Also Dundee was Muhammad Ali's trainer. This guy was like family to Ali.

First Joe Frazier and now Dundee......I wonder what who passes next. I hope it's not the champ. I'm a big fan of Ali's.

90 is a long life. We should all be so lucky.

Haven't heard much about Ali lately. He's had Parkinson's for almost 30 years.

"Philadelphia is not a town. It's a jungle. They don't have gyms there. They have zoos. They don't have sparring sessions. They have wars." -Angelo Dundee

                        RIP my Philly brother.

they already came in 3's or 4's depending on how u see it.. but u could count paterno's death as 3 sports people.. or u could say the person that created soul train who died recently too as 4 people that are stars/public/actors/etc

I was watching a tribute to Dundee on ESPN Classic (one of those 30 for 30) shows. It followed Ali during his fight with Holmes. I was just 9 years old and remember that fight (1980). That was the fight the put Ali "over the edge" so to speak. He should've stopped after Frazier but he litterally didn't land one punch and was tired from sparring before the fight started. It was all for the 8 million dollars. Maybe the Parkinsons wouldnt have happened, maybe it would've but that fight sealed his fate. I hated watching it.
