I almost bet against the Clippers
I hadnt bet the NBA regular season since 01 but have busted out this year doing fairly well in the handful of games I have bet on this year mostly focusing on lakers, Clippers, GSW and a few middle shots.

Utah opened +145, I almost pulled the trigger on them since Clippers havent played well there in a decade, even got blown out earlier, but that was a total throw away game as they had a couple key injuries and a game the next night.

The gambler in me said bet Utah +145, Clipper guy in me held off. So I didnt play the game. As it is now Clippers still -2.5 (went to -2) more Clips money coming in now. Utah still currently +125. Considering Clippers record there it looks like stealing. But this is the NBA and whenlines dont make sense it is best to take notice. Especially when it looks like 60% of the people are still all on Utah and the line is still moving back Clippers way.

But since it is the bail out game of the night (last tip off time) then I suspect there to be a lot more action on it as guys win or lose and chase or push as their early games are tallied.

Yup.....you've been doing fairly well betting on the NBA......especially the "free money" games involving the Lakers & Clippers.

yeah one fixed game where I bet a ML is such a big loss, how about the 8 or 10 other games I have bet against the Lakers? 3 of them ML dogs winning and 3 where they were dogs and got blown out. I lost on the Mavs ML too you forgot that one. But you also forgot the Sac ML I had at the start of the season, the Indy ML a couple weeks ago and the blow out losses at Milw (another ML play) Orl and Miami. Then the first loss to the Clippers. Clips were a small fav but I made about 600 at the game betting deluded Laker fans would have been double that had Clips held on to the DD win. I also remember Den New Years day and the Trailblazer at like -3 a couple days after that. So I am basically 10-2 betting against the Lakers this year. But way to cherry pick one of the losses...good job. Whatever makes you feel better with the pathetic team you have an avatar for. But if youre the typical 'laker fan' you have Clippers logo up there next year.

The original point was I almost bet against the Clippers mostly because of history and a +145 line. But I didnt.

Then a typical drunk/deluded/idiot laker fan came in with some stupid comments. So really nothing to see after the original post. Guys just grasping at a single straw as they go down for the last time.

So you still like Utah? Don't see much value at the current line.

no, +145 was worth it, +125 is very borderline. The only positive for Utah is their past 42 games against the Clippers. I just hope Vinnie plays to win and doesnt pull the shit he did last game on the front end of a back to back, similar to what this game is. although that last game was also the sandwich of a 3 in a row stretch.

Clips are healthy, and probably have a lot of confidence off the last two games so I expect them to come out string.

Just to be clear........your first post says you've bet a "handful of games" (NBA) this season on the "lakers, clippers, and GSW". As we all know...a "handful" is approximately five...give or take one. But now, that I pointed out one of your classic "free money" jobbers that lost.....your handful of games has turned in to 8 to 10 games ....of which you go on to say explain that 6 of those bets alone were on Lakers games (3 on ML dogs verse Lakers....3 on Lakers as dogs).....all winners of course ......yet none posted on SBR....of course . Oh, well, you did post one play.......your "free money" Clippers play which lost..of course.. So, documented you're 0-1, but undocumented you're at least 6-1.

I dont post plays unless i have an angle and even then I dont. I didnt even say I bet the Clippers in that thread you love to cite. I did but that is irrelevant. I dont air bet. ia lso said I bet Dallas on the ML which was also a loss. So I dont just cherry pick games here or there.

But point of fact I believe the only game I have said that I absolutely bet was the 76ers in one of their first home games, then I also came back and said I took a middle on them once the line moved more than 3 points.

I dont have to come into a forum full of degenrate losers and verify anything. I have more than enough opinionated views to have guys figure out where I stand on certain games without giving out specifics. Because Like I said that thread youre citing, no where does it say "I bet the clippers" or "you should bet the Clippers". It says the same thing all my comments about the lakers or the clippers says, usually in relationship to a line. That one just happened to lose, so it is the one you almost have to pick because it is the only one that lost. But I challenge you to see anything about that post that said I bet them. It was only one sentence in length. Hell if I wanted to pad an air bet record I would have said I didnt bet the game at all and just went to it and watched it. But of course I bet it, anyone with a brain would have.

But had you told me before the game that the lakers would get every call and Clippers would get none and Lakers would shoot 35 free throws and Clippers would only get 15 I might have laid off the game. But even despite all that Clippers still had a chance to win the game. But that one sentence by me in a post is as warm and comforting to you as your mothers tit was when your a kid, the one thing you could hold on to that made you feel better. Except now you are a grown man and youre life is so pathetic you have to leech onto something some anonymous guy writes about a team on a fourm full of degenerates to make your life have some meaning.

So as a show of pity I will give it to you. Good job guy, I was wrong the Lakers beat the Clippers. I lost a bet.

                        Corbin is an awful coach.

Then again, I don't think much of Del Negro either.

Vinnie is a lot like Mike Brown looks good with talent or when the talent is making shots, but without talent or when a team NEEDS coaching, couldnt coach his way out of a paper bag. He has cost Clippers 3 games on his own this year, maybe even a 4th. Clippers have so much talent its scarey he just doesnt know how to utilize it. Luckily Chauncey and Paul coach better than he does, but for them to be elite they need to find a new guy. Not really sure who but someone that knows how to game plan a little better than vinnie does.

I was gonna take the clippers regardless -130/+130. I'm just real confident with this particular play after handicapping the game.

Well at half time both teams have looked good and bad. But had I known Caron Butler wasnt playing I might have taken the 145 after all. Win or lose it would have been an advantage play.

Strangest thing is once the announcement came more money went on the Clippers, not until late did a bunch of Jazz money come in.

No action so just hoping clips can finish it off.

Clippers have played 5 actual road games, I dont count the Lakers 'road' game as a road game. Theyre 2-3 in thos egames those teams have a combined home record of 43-15 so to say they have played some tough road games would be an understatement. If you want to go ahead and add the Lakers then Clips are 2-4 and the opponents have a 54-17 home record.

Clippers right now have by far the toughest schedule of teams played this year. But its trial by fire what doesnt kill them will make them stronger.

Was all Utah early then once butler was announced it did flip to Clippers slightly I see 52% at the highest. Utah was 57 to 60% most all morning.

not sure what stats, I just know Clippers have only played 3 teams with losing records, and that is counting the losses Clips put on the winning teams. Combined record for Clips opponents is unreal. 220-154. i dont think any other team is close to having opponents with records like that.
