I rarely talk to the girl, if she was here with me it would be very different though

I leave he voice messages and she never ever calls me back

I probably if she was in NJ but her an IPAD, lots of chocolate for her and her little one
Also definitely some sexy underwear and jellies

Also would take her to Montreal for 2 night trip at a top hotel smack in the City and have a good time and her little one would of course be included

What else could I do????

lol yeah they celebrate it here. A friend posted on her FB wall this pathetically depressing msg this morning about how she'll be alone for V Day yet again. When we finally got sick of trying to convince her that she should feel bad about being destined to being alone 365 days a year instead of just whining about Feb 14th, we started bombing her with awful memories we've all had of our own.

My top three:

1. Making a guy a huge dinner, including homemade fortune cookies at the end that I personalised with stuff about us. He went into a tirade about Chinese people and took one, threw it on the floor and stomped on it. Dawned on me a few weeks after we'd broken up that we'd never gone for Chinese food in our entire relationship. F that prick

2. Guy who wrote the wrong name on the card he gave me and then tried to blame it on the "card writer" at Hallmark???

3. Guy gave me a coupon book he'd made full of "gifts" ie: when I redeem this, you'll give me a bj with 3 minutes notice kind of thing.

Bloody loserville 101. Doesn't say much that I actually dated these chumps.

It was one of the only times in my life - probably the only actually - that I wanted to throw something at someone's head but I was so stunned I couldn't move. A friend said later that it would've been like one of those movie scenes where you literally cringe because you're so mortified for the person even though you know they're an actor, and she was right. Sooooo humiliating. Plus those f'rs were bloody hard work. Not sure if you've ever tried to make fortune cookies but they're a bitch... and I was living in FL at the time so the humidity was f'ng with them big time. Finally got like 24 perfect ones, wrote all these really cute/sexy things, and the cokroach stomps on one and that was that. Never again.

It's one of those things that isn't funny to experience but can be funny in a movie. I could see a comedy pulling that off.

The other day I mentioned my daughter going up to a black man and saying "you're black". I was cringing, not knowing where it was heading. In a movie that can be made to be funny, the things kids say.

I like chinese food. Don't like the fortune cookies but I do crack them open to read the message.

So Shari, perhaps in your opinion, is their an age where single women stop caring about Valentines day? You think younger girls my age(early 20's) tend to worry more if they don't go out than women that are much older and mature?
