Griffen's is more of a throw in, then a dunk. Finger tips barely hit the rim.

What about Tmac over Shawn Bradley in the playoffs when he was playing for Houston. I just remember TMac's nuts in Bradleys face.

Regardless that was better than yesterday's Lebron Ladder dunk. Blake G. is the man.

sitting in the car in traffic, leaving the game. maybe the best dunk ever. That Jordan one over Ewing is way over rated, Ewing was off balance and falling down backwards as he turned around. Perkins was going right into Griffen and Blake had so much going forward in the air he pushed a guy who was flat footed on the ground stationary backwards. Most guys would have been knocked off balance Griffen went right over him and threw it in.
Obviously old time dunks lose something as time goes by but that dunk was pretty frigging awesome. Perkins is huge, he was standing both feet on the floor, and put both hands right into his chest and Blake still blew through him. Take a physics class osmetime if you want to really understand how unreal that dunk was.

Might be the best dunk I've ever seen of all time and I've seen thousands...
hard to tell cause the clips posted here are all in slow-mo and bad angles. gonna have to check out the replay of the game.

I agree... Plus Perkins weighs much more than Ewing did and Perkins wasn't even going for the block. He purposely tried to push Griffin back and he still went through him. Like you mention, the physics of that play is off the charts. most guys would have landed on the floor taking that hit from Perkins.

Perkins did to Griffen what Bynum did to Barea last year. If Blake was a midget it would have ended up being one of the 'dirtiest' plays ever like Bynum got labeled with. But because Griffen is an animal it just becomes one of the best dunks ever. As it was Perkins did stop him just short so he had to throw it the last couple inches like most of his dunks are anyway but it still looks good.
I only saw it live and then the 50 times they played it on the jumbo tron which wasnt a great angle but these videos here show it even better and it is even more impressive.

That was just sick nasty...
i saw his fingers graze the rim, it wasn't a dunk.
considering the hype on ESPN tonight, they ran this as a story before the game was over - almost as big a joke of a so-called dunk than dwight howards non-dunk that won the dunk contest.

Lebron's dunk is way better.. what the fukk are you drinking..
The crowd went ballistic, and they must've replayed it at least 15 times.
It was insane. Insane. INSANE.

In case you missed the greatest dunk of all time last night.............
Better dunks in High School everyday. Just go to youtube.
13 feet....
Dude is almost 7 feet and pushes himself off the other player and barely throws it in.
Maybe if he was 6 feet then it be worth talking about.

He got fouled hard there and was lucky the ball went in. His hand was at least 6 inches from the rim.

Do you know the definition of the dunk???
A slam dunk is a type of basketball shot that is performed when a player jumps in the air and manually powers the ball downward through the basket with one or both hands over the rim.
Nowhere in the definition of the dunk does it say that you have to have hands on the rim or hang onto the rim...
Did you hear the sound of the ball when it went through the rim?? That was a slam dunk my friend.
