    betting NHL after the break. insights? Potential shootouts tomorrow?
    I find that this is a tough week to bet historically, for me at least. What do you guys think? If you had to pick 2 shootouts tomorrow - who would the be? I am taking these 2 shootouts (where I bet they pay approx 5.5 units parlayed with a minimum of 2 (so for every $1 risked = $30 -- $100 = 3K+)
    Vancouver -- Chicago (Crawford - Schneider) and
    Nashville -- Minnesota (Rinne - Harding)
    also looks good: Ducks at Phoenix;

    SU games I like (a win in regulation where I bet): Flyers over Winnipeg
    and Detroit over Calgary; leaning toward Ottawa beating Bruins too (possible shootout?)
    Anyone else have thoughts?

        DET CAL is the best over I have seen in a long time, you can get over 5.5 for +110, SMASH IT

          Not feeling it for some reason. I think it's gonna be a big defensive game. I could see 3-2 or 3-1.

            After the break last year, there were 13 games scheduled on the day back (12 games played - snow cancelled one game)

            8 under, 4 over
            5 games went to a shootout

              I think for choosing a side the break is irrevelant as both sides will have equal time to rest

                  Capped every game over/under last night. Think the under in the Detroit/Calgary is the play opposite of NHL pro capper. A couple of spots for definite unders but some other games are definite no plays for me, Vancouver/Chicago for example (although would lean over). Will post my plays when I get home. Since 2007 every year in the first games back there has been more unders than over (except for 2010 after the Olympics, where there were 9 overs and 2 unders).

                    Det horrible on the road, and Cal and Det always have saddledome shootouts. The under is a huge mistake.

                        True, but that is what makes it tough. Then you have all the guys who did play over the weekend too...
