Did Anyone Think Kyrie Irving Was Going To Be This Good???
Fuk me
Takes a college team like Cleve Cavs and makes them very competitive.
The scouts nailed it right

yeah, it was a tough call since he didn't have a very large college resume. It was basically like predicting how the HS players from 5 years ago and beyond would do, jumping to that level. I've been impressed. He's no Moses Malone though

If you watched him before he got hurt last year, you'd answer yes. Emphatically.

Yes I did
Got into a lot of arguments with people, friends, etc about him
Most do not like him because of Duke factor

Yes. Kids a stud. What few games he played at Duke he was unstoppable driving to the basket. Just hope he decides not to play for the Australian national team and waits to play for the USA.

Would be great if he could get the Cavs owner that NBA ring before LeBron gets it.

A lot of people did. That's why he was so highly touted before, during, and after his months in college.

I'll admit I sure didn't. I thought with so many PG's rated in the top 5-6 picks they should have went with D Wil for the 1st pick and chose Kemba with the next pick because I didn't feel Irving was that far ahead of the other guys and I really liked D wil. Right now looks like I was wrong. Irving is the real deal

He'll never come back as long as Gilbert owns the team and I dont see him selling anytime soon. Cavs are winning too much though. They have to get another stud in draft to put next to Kyrie and then they'll have a shot. No big name free agent ever come here. That being said was a nice win last night and fun to watch Kyrie clutch up at the end. Just wish I took the moneyline instead of the +6.

I don't see why LeBron would ever return to Cleveland.

kyrie is nasty .. rookie of the year hands down ... could be a future mvp once he starts improving
some scouts are comparing him to a deron williams type player ... i know thats far from it now but just wait and see when he has 2-3 years under his belt ...
BOOM CAVS WILL WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP (ya right)

He doesn't have the athleticism of a D Rose or Wall...but anyone who watched him in college saw his smooth game...his ability to finish with either hand at at the rim, and a solid jump shot.
I love how the NBA experts were projecting him as a solid PG who'd never average more than 15ppg and 7 assists...

Aren't those two different things? Nothing against Deron Williams, but he's not going to be an MVP.

u have to remember this is cleveland. JJ u would average 6 pts a game on cleveland. He wouldn't play as much on other teams but yes , I knew he would be good.
