poker room reviews...whos doing the reviewing
Are the reviews done by players or SBR staff?

I play about 50 hours a week and i take seriously.
    i play daily at stars,dise,party,canbet,ub,ft.
ialso have accounts at many others.

when it comes to online poker sites i like to think i know a bit about whos who(unlike sports betting where most of my knowledge comes from info on this site)

there is no way anyone can put americas card room or doyles joint into the same class as stars or party or dise or pcific

ive gone to doyles so many times to find no games happening
the traffic which is crucial is non existant comparitivly speaking.

plus there is no info available on players who play at doyles or americas.where as i can get info on all who play sit&gos and multi tables tourneys
    party ,stars etc..

the rake at americas is way to high..the software not comparable to stars.

i dont think theres enough time here for me to mention numerous differenceces.

heres another joke true poker..A- if you like nice 3-d graphics and very good cs go check out true poker.( there only good features)

However if you like to play poker dont go there

an A- a notch under the big boys(no way)

the one good thing about americas card room is there is alot of soft play there.......if and when you find the game you want.

bottom line there is no way theses 3 poker rooms deserve a rating that puts them in the same class as poker stars or party or dise

    Al,
SBR does not own a poker review site. We do however, sell advertising to a poker review site. So the reviews for poker are prepared by an advertiser of SBR and not SBR.

You do have some great points....

Al, thank you for your comments. There is a lot to consider when rating a room. There's more to it than just the size of the player base. Player advocacy is one of our main concerns. For instance, excellent customer service and a bulletproof record of fast payouts, as well as how accessible the management of a particular room is when presented with a convoluted customer service issue. For us, any site that is willing to go the extra mile for a player having an issue with them is a site that should receive a higher rating. Because on a very basic level a poker room is about paying the players promptly, being readily available when players have questions and problems, running the games fairly, and living up to their promise of providing a secure and stable environment in which to play. And the better ones also reward you for your loyalty, in whatever form that takes. We have received as much positive feedback about ACR and Doyles Room as we have regarding the top tier rooms you mentioned. As far as True Poker, it is a site that is very friendly to beginning players, and new players are the lifeblood of online poker.

Our reviews are written by professional poker players, who are in no way related to SBR. Additionally, we put the rooms through a constant reevaluation process. We test, we probe, we challenge them to live up to what they promise. All this is reflected in the rating they receive.

I wish you good luck on the tables, and again, thanks for your input.

I'm with Poker Room Review. Again, no connection to SBR, unless you count working my way through their forum daily.

Hey Prrmike; back to my original question

                  whos doing the reviewing?

sbr john told me that the reviews were prepared by the
advertiseres of sbr.yet in your post you state that
they are done by professional poker players.

Which one is it, and if they are done by professional poker players. who are the players?
