      this just in

the coin in the flip has been weighed for possible defects. it appears the tails side is a bit heavier.

i also have been studying tape on the giants coin flip calls this season. i am waiting for conformation on who will be the giants captains.

For the good of the species, I will track down and castrate anyone who makes a negative EV bet on the coin flip. You have been warned.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — One word from Giants special teams captain Zak DeOssie will begin the Super Bowl.

With more than 100 million people watching in the United States alone, the long snapper from New York, other Giants captains and their counterparts from New England will see referee John Parry display both sides of a special commemorative coin for the opening toss.

Then, DeOssie will choose his side.

"I've called 'tails' every single time this year, and that's what it's going to be this weekend," DeOssie said in an interview Thursday.

This was a great play . Not only were they "due" but the Patriots also had the revenge factor from losing the toss last time . Not to mention it was in Indy so the AFC had Home Field advantage aswell.
