West Virginia -6.5 Monday should be a big play

Big game for the Mountaineers returning home after losing two in a row. Got a wake up call at St. John's and then got screwed with the goaltending at Syracuse. Pitt is really not a very good basketball team. I see a motivated West Virginia squad dominating this game with their bigs.

If Pitt doesn't beat Georgetown saturday they are likely at least a 9 or maybe even 10 point dog here so I think we are getting great value with WVU. They have traditionally been a very strong home team especially in conference play.

I'm not worried about a letdown following the tough loss to Cuse... The Backyard Brawl needs no extra motivation and these kids will be ready.

I was thinking the samething. This is a huge letdown spot for Pittsburgh after they beat Georgetown on Saturday. West Virginia is still real pissed about that no call in the Syracuse game, and i expect them to be motivated to win this big rivalary game

Just take Kevin Jones over 2.5 free throws made. Syracuse was the first game in awhile he didnt get to the free throw line more then 5 times.

tough spot for the mountaineers right now, sadly i think pitts playing better lately. duno where there mind is tonight after the robbing on saturday. wvu games have been flying over all year except for saturday (12/19 overs, 7/10 in be play), this team really isnt as good defensively as it was in years passed, same could be said for the panthers. lean to pitt and the over if i had to play it, probably just watching.
