Al Michales recognizes the gamblers once again
With about 30 seconds left last night and the Skins attempting a back door cover, Michaels says:

"Well the game is over, but I know many many people are still very interested in what happens here."

    You gotta love that guy.

Haha, yeah, I think it was "The game is over, but many of our viewers are still watching intently..."

    Just stating the facts.

I believe Al Michaels was booking this game and he was more concerned with the bets he had to pay to the Giants backers. It's tough being a bookie on live TV.

Actually, I took Al Michael's bet, he has YES on will there be a score in the last two mins of the game.

                  Bitch owes me 10 dimes.

I find it even more amusing after Michaels makes a comment like that, how John Madden gets extremely quiet. I am not sure if it is out of fear, annoyance, or disrespect for the playing of the game, but it has to drive Madden nuts.

My personal favorite Michaelsism is when the Cowboys kicked a 42 yard field goal to make the score 27-21 a couple years back, and the game had a total of 45 1/2, Michaels proclaims "It's up and..... it's an OVER!"

Michaels is awesome, I don't think Madden minds all that much but he simply won't comment.

I like it, the NFL should recognise the people who will watch a 45-0 blowout just to see if another field goal will be scored to cover the over, and thus help the all important T.V. ratings.

Yeah I don't think Madden minds either.. His reaction seems to be more along the lines of just letting go over his head and if he don't comment he's not associated with what's said....

Yeah I love when he make those kinds of comments... He's so suttle sometimes... My favorite is many years ago when a FG was made to extend the lead near the end of the game and he said "and it's good... now it's over ...in more ways then one "....

My personal favorite Michaelsism however had nothing to do with sports... It was 1998 and they were coming back from a commerical... The crew must not have known and as they were showing the cheerleaders one of his partners said "nothing like the days in college " and Michaels says "yeah noooo sh*t!!!".... CLEAR AS DAY!!!
