So I go into my local supermarket and go to the deli. They have roast beef and pastrami marked for $1.099lb. So I said that is a fantastic price... I get a pound of each and go to check out. I am charged $10.99lb. I went to the customer service desk to get the price corrected and they call the deli manager. She brings the sign and when she did so she removed the decimal point so it is now reading $1_099lb. I told her that when she brought the sign over she removed the decimal point. So now they call the store manager. I showed the store manager the other sign that is still over there. Surely enough they both read 1.099lb. The manager looks at me and says "Do you really think roast beef and pastrami are $1.09 a pound. I said Nope but that is what your sign says. He told me that what I am doing is wrong but to take my $20 worth of meat and have a nice day. Making me feel like complete shit...
So now I get all the meat for $0. Should I feel bad because someone didnt do their job properly?
Edit: I don't even like cold cuts but my wife and kids do.
