This is a good fun promo targeted at players who enjoy playing VP on a regular basis anyway. The value-sniffing trolls will likely stick their tongues out and .

Lou we understand ur pt.. truly.. but what u are doing is adding 800 pts to a 20k payout.. i mean its very far fetched to hit anyway, but adding 800 pts wont generate any new business there..

it would be like a casino with a slot machine jackpot of $50,000 offering a free dinner buffet once u hit the jackpot. hehe

but, normally sbr specials are fun and reward players back highly.. this isnt one of them... its probably just we are spoiled is all

Wasn't going to post in this thread but, as someone who occasionally dabbles in -EV games such as video poker and other degen games like craps and also values value, the jab hit a little to close to home...

The problem for me is that it actually wouldn't be that bad promo for smallish players (having seen them before a washing machine ate them (twice) they are very nice shirts) if the SBR's Video Poker games' pay tables weren't horrendously and uniformly bad... Bring back some 9/6 Jacks or Better or add some appropriately named Not So Ugly Deuces (25/16/10/4/4...) both of which the house still has an edge in even if you play the game well, so we don't feel like we are playing slots rather then video poker and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who would occasionally get sucked in with or without a promo...

FYI, I appreciate the freebies SBR provides very much and regularly compliment their generosity. Just because I also offer my opinion when its negative doesn't mean I don't appreciate anything. SBR totally rocks in many many ways - this promo is just not an example of it.
