Florida Marlins playing to nearly empty stands!
The Braves/Marlins game yesterday had a total attendance of 600, for those who've ever wanted to catch a HR ball or take their kid and catch a HR ball this is your opportunity, if you sit in the outfield stands you gotta have at least a 10% chance of getting a HR ball, hell even if it's hit to a different section of the outfield you might get lucky and have no fans there and be able to jog over and pick it up

Apparently, because of freebies, the amount of people who actually paid was around 300.

      Terrible stadium.
      95 degrees heat.
      Game means nothing.
Two teams going nowhere this season.

      Count me out.

It said the actual ticket sales was over 11k, but that only 600 showed up. It's amazing to me that Florida even has one MLB team much less two given that the attendance at TB and FL games is terrible

Odds are good to catch a foul ball there. Bet fans had whole sections to themselves. Wonder how concession sales were yesterday?

            they need more Mexicans.

Dodgers at .500 and get 40,000+ everynight.

Dead right. Padres are 17 out and still averaging 26,000

Would any of you pay money to watch the marlins? I wouldn't even go if the ticket was free unless I had a bet on the game.

I would go for free why not.

I even went to Angels games when there were more people for the wrestling show afterwards than for the game.

Be interesting to see if anyone actually sits in the seat they paid for. These must be the cheapest home plate seats in the league.

Would be kinda fun to go to the Braves/Marlins game and just sit behind home plate and yell stuff that would get on TV for friends to hear like that dude that's always yelling at the Braves home games. C'mon Chipper I got money on this game, hit a fukin homerrrrr. I'm the only jackass that showed up for this game hit a homer for ME. C'mon ump everybody in the stands (me and my friend Joe) knows that was a ball BOOOOOOO!
