in fact the celtics have only pierce, rondo, brandon bass, avery bradley, and jujuan johnson under contract for next year

maybe not this year.....but if they landed dwight...and had allen and garnett come off the books...they could really start trying to add little pieces around rondo, pierce, and howard...they would be fuckin tough....and paul only has 1 more year on his deal after this one......rondo and dwight is a solid foundation....not sure what kind of deal would have to be swung though

pretty sure the bass for howard was sarcasm. magic traded bass for glen davis earlier. OP was just saying howard going to the celitics is as likely as them trading howard straight up for bass

yeah..its not l.a. or miami.....the lakers just make too much sense for him

but him and rondo would be something....and like i mentioned....allen and garnett come off after this year...pierce after next...they only have 5 guys under contract for next year...they could really retool this roster and build something around rondo and howard for the next 6 years or so

the funny thing is that howard is one of the main reasons the magic go stagnant on offense. He is a black hole down low who has no real offensive weapons to speak of. He's a lot like Ben Wallace to be honest.
