just the other day me and a couple of buddys had a general discution on what sport is profitable for each. almost everyone said by far baseball. sure this is a small sample size of 7-8 guys. question wee had no answer for (and called it a night) to was that if everyone makes money on baseball why wouldn't books just take mlb of the board?

I couldn't explain 5 yrs of experience into one post.
but you look like you've been at this a long time... the shortest explanation is you can use a lot of "systems" in MLB that you can't in other sports. Certain "situations" show up in MLB a lot more than other sports.
MLB is harder to fix too, or the league is more resistant to it. And now books are putting out so many kinds of bets, you can get around the fixes too, such as team totals, or prop bets on a pitcher.
NBA is easiest to fix, imo. NFL there isn't enough games and if you're down early in the season, you're just chasing to break even for the season. Too much work, not enough payout.Comment
