What would be the percentage of a wager covering normally even if you didnt tease it. Say you have Team X -7 and tease it to -1. What is the percentage that they would cover the 7 anyway?

I was thinking football. I cant remeber who it was, but someone was saying it hits at an 80% clip. That your wager would either win or lose regardless of the tease most of the time. Is that true?

Home favorites of -7 ATS are 197-201 (49.4%).

Away favorites of -7 teased 6 pts to -1 are 86-39 (68.8%).
Away favorites of -7 are 49-73 ATS (40.2%).

It's not a spread you see real often. (4-3 ATS, 0-7 SU)

You're right, it is, I love the math of this stuff. I'm not sure where Durito gets his info but from now on I'm gonna call him the Professor.

I'd strongly suggest not betting into that trend.

These things have been priced into the market these days. 5-10 years ago, blindly betting home dogs hit 54% and 7+ home dogs hit 60%, but not anymore.

The last 4 years, +7 is 8-12. and 7 or more is 38-34 ATS. All home dogs are 158-172-9 ATS in that stretch.
