      In my experience, yes.

      But check your books policy.

So false. 99.999% of books call that a tie and it just reduces a four teamer to a three teamer. Only a loss if its a sweetheart teaser. Two teamers are refunded.

On regular 6-pt teasers, they usually reduce. On teasers of 8 points or more, a tie is usually treated as a loss.

                  I just asked at 5dimes....

Steven: If a two-team teaser has a tie and a loser, the teaser loses. You may have your account set up for "Vegas" teaser rules (a tie and a loser = a TIE). By choosing this option, the account will not be eligible for bonuses of any kind. Only teasers played AFTER choosing this option will apply for the "Vegas" rules. Not all accounts will be eligible for this rule change.
If there is a tie in one or more of your individual parts, then the wager steps down to the next lower number of teams. If a two-team teaser has a tie and a winner, then the teaser pushes, "No Action."

5 dimes responding to if I could have a Vegas rules teaser account

Steven: I just got informed that since currently you are up on the book performance you are not eligible for the Vegas teaser rules, most of the accounts that are eligible for this have a negative record on the balance.

Why would you make a wager when you know nothing about the circumstances involved in it?

You sure as hell implied you made the wager (if it's not already in play). Maybe you should have phrased the question better so people won't have to guess what you're meaning with your choice of words.
