Only for Nadal....as even the commentators mentioned, no emotion, urgency, passion on the part of Federer on that game. Nadal just wanted it more.

Guranteed the final is much better with non stop rallies from the young guys. Federer look tired after 1 set and hit 100+ unforced errors.

You guys need to stop ragging on Federer. He's arguably the greatest tennis player of all time. He has the heart of a champion. There comes a time when age catches up to you. Especially when you're facing a warrior like Nadal who never quits and never fatigues and is a master at wearing down his opponent.

That's really not Fed's style to be emotional. Never has been - much like Peyton Manning in football. He'll show emotion in situations where he really feels it, but I think it's to the point now where Rafa is such a mental block that he's probably numb when these matches start slipping away. I think it's harsh of us as fans/armchair analysts to think we know what a player should or shouldn't do. The guy is still the best player to have ever played the game, but he's getting older and Rafa is his nemesis - the guy he can't beat. At 30, Federer is still a damn good player, but with the rest of the big four five years or more younger ... it's hard for him to match them as they enter or are in their primes and he's fading from his.

I still love watching Federer, but I said it before - for him to win another Slam, it will take a perfect storm like when he won the French ... someone has to do the dirty work of beating Rafa ahead of him.

The rallies don't do it for me. I like the crazy shot making when you think they're out of the point and the battles back from love 40. That stuff just doesn't happen with Djoko/Nadal or if Murray makes it somehow, Nadal will smoke him.

I hope I'm wrong though. The match tonight is the epitome of why I have absolutely obsessed about this sport for 30+ years. Anyone who say this sport is for pussies, etc needs to be locked up.

With all due respect, Djokovic will get to be named in the same breath as these two warriors when he's won at least 10 Slams.
