Sharapova Wins, Now I have a Bankroll I need some advice quick!

Ok so heres the story,

deposited 125 bucks about 4 hours ago and my bets were:

3rd quarter bet of the kings/Denver game. I bet Nuggets +1.5 in the third quarter and they won it 28 to 22

Took all of that and put 235 and bet it on the sharipova ML @+120 as i mentioned in the other kvitika thread

Sharapova just won so i turned my 125 into $517

Now most of you are thinking great big deal 500 bucks who cares and i agree with you ive had much more and risked much more before

Problem is no matter how much i start with i always run it into the ground.

Just looking for some sound advice at not what to bet on but how to bet and what % of my BR i should bet to be safe.

For instance I like federer in the match that starts in an hour and instincts say to put 250 bucks on him but wait thats 50% of my entire bankroll!!

So just looking for a number i should be betting on each game with a starting roll of just over 5bills

any advice would help thanks!

Side note: what are your thoughts on the nadal/federer match

I'd bet around 50 bucks a game.

really depends on if you are betting for action or quick cash.

you want the quick cash and the buzz then you will bet a lot.

you want to stay in the game and steadily grow your roll then bet about 2-3% of your roll on each play. if you bet 2-3% on each play it will take a tremendous amount of losing plays in a row to go broke.

it sucks betting 10 bucks a game, especially when you have 500, but like i said, it depends on why you are betting.

Federer is a much better hard court player than Nadal. I would go with Federer.

bottom line i agree with you jeff and thats why im betting $20 bucks on nadal instead of $250, win or lose ill still at least be in the game tomorrow

Betting 2-3% of your bankroll is for people with a real bankroll. Betting 15$ a game is a waste of time.

Pick a good spot here and there and try to add 100 to your bankroll on each play for now. Good Luck.

of course ill go 1-1 and lose to the juice but we will see

Betting Nadal reason:

he is 19 and 7 against federer and won three of the last 4 matches they have played

Im not saying hes a lock or even better than a 50/50 but as i see this match will come down to who is playing better in 30 mins ill take the extra +125 instead of paying the juice.

Not gonna lie if Fed was +125 id take hime too, like i said its a coin flip in my eyes

For the Under:

No one knows who is gonna come out playing harder but this will most likley not reach 5 sets my best guess one of them will win it in 4 sets

If it goes 3 sets I auto win and even if it goes 4 sets at 6-4,6-4,6-4,6-4 i still win

Only 10 wins if you stick to 10% of your original[ bankroll (in which case it wouldn't even take 10 more loses then your wins (with juice) to wipe it out)...

If you keep betting 10% of the current bankroll it would only take like 7-8 wins in a row to double although (without a god like edge) eventually you still going to go bust (with you quickly approaching zero) so also not a sound strategy...

Take over on this match....I think federer takes it but it will be something like 7-5, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6. I could also easily see this go into 5 sets though. These matches are always classic
