    Giuliani had a great speech.
He ripped obama apart. made him look horrible.

    * mentioned how Obama said the un secirties should take care of the giorgia russia situation when russia has veto power in the un securities.

    * mentioned how much obama changes his mind, making a joke that Biden should get his VP selection in writing.

    *Talked up Palin tremendously.

Moron. Let me know if you ever need another book, I'd be happy to take your action.

            The truth...

During the first - 8 - eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced

            233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
            112 crime fighting bills,
            97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
            21 ethics reform bills,
            15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included

            1. Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law,
            2. Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law,
            3. Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
            4. 2007 Government Ethics Bill, became law,
            5. Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.

In all, since entering the State/U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096.

An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to some who would prefer that this comparison not be made public.

These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress www.thomas.loc.gov.

                wait for the debates.

McCain will have his ass handed to him.

the repbublican convention was nothing more than preaching to the converted.

                btw, Giuliani is a dirtball.

Palin never wrote or signed a bill if you don't count her being governor of a state.

More power to the religious retards, that's what we need more of in DC.

What has McCain ever changed? He votes with the Republicans over 90% of the time. The only thing he disagrees with his party about is immigration, which he agrees with Bush about.

McCain has actually done a better job than any cadidate in working with the democrats on trying to get things passed. He doesn't care about his affiliation with the party. He is more of an old time GOP and cares about this country.. I will say what i've said 100,000 times... I don't think McCain is the best candidate for the job, but he's better than Obama. Obama has a gift in the way he can rally people and make them feel he is certain he will change things.. In reality Obama won't change anything because no candidate ever does.. It takes more than 1 person to change the way our country is run. He is completely lacking experience, and he still doesn't know half of what the job as president entails. he just knows he wants to CHANGE things... well what does that mean? everytime he speaks his platform is change, and no more 4 years of the same... but he hasnt actually said what HE will do (or made it clear rather), to make change... ok he can bring the troops home, everyone wants to hear that. he can give universal healthcare (never happened never will, no dem has ever gotten this passed). So its the routine democratic philosophies backed by someone who is a gifted speaker... I want to be safe, and i dont want an inexperienced person running this nation. That doesnt mean im a huge fan of McCain, he is just better than Obama. And that quote by Palin was just calling out Obama, which i agreed with... Thats all... Im not trying to start anything just my opinion...

                                                i didnt say that
but when a man votes with bush 95% of the time, its pretty clear he agrees with him

sometimes you need to stop cheerleading for a political party and think, just stop and think

                                                less dogma, more thinking

I know... But i would rather have McCain than taking a chance on someone who may not have a clue in his head how to be president... this is a crazy world we live in today... cant take that chance

are you serious? ok, lets call pearl harbor a terror attack, bc lord knows, those crazy japanese are terrorists right?

they took out a military base bc they knew we were about to enter wwII.

but fine, so two attacks on our own soil, one ON A MILITARY BASE

so how exactly will obama be not protecting us? how is it mccain will?

do you seriously go to bed at night scared of towelheads?

I can't believe the mainstream media's blushing over Palin's speech as if some how it was one of the greatest speechs in the history of political rhetoric. In my life, I've never heard anything so unauthentic and factually wrong. It was essentially a speech that had no substance or content to it other than a bunch of platitudes and standard conservative myths and lies that never seem to die no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary.

What a maverick John McCain is? Yeah, such a maverick that he nominated a religious wacko b/c the Republican base was pressuring him to do so. Yet, McCain (the Maverick) wanted Lieberman (a Jew/Democrat) or Romney (a Mormom from a liberal state) or Tom Ridge (a pro-choice Republican)...yet McCain went with the safe pick of a religious lunatic who would pacify the Jerry Fallwell crowd in his party. Now if McCain was truly a "maverick" like the media keeps telling us, wouldn't he have picked those others who are supremely better than this ideological know nothing current VP candidate?

There is no more important issue to the Republicans than abortion, gay marriage, school prayer, flag burning, interracial dating, making English the official language of the USA, more tax breaks to the wealthy few individuals + corporations, endless wars, myth of military power to solve world problems, drilling for oil when it won't help, etc.... There is no low the Republican establisment won't sink to to get into power. You really think the REP base wants to overturn Roe V. Wade...if they did, 70% of their base would leave.
