Was out there a few months ago...They weren't bad then....but it was a Thursday afternoon around 230.

Security ran through pretty smoothly, but of course I always get pulled to the side to be checked.

The lines weren't nearly as bad/fukked up as midways are if they are any bit busy.

security is to get to the gates. if your switching planes your already past security. unless you means leaving the airport to go outside and smoke and then go back through security....then that depends on the time of day.

I flew from sacramento to Albuquerque new mexico. The normal routes are Sac-lA-abq OR SAC-PHX-ABQ. I took there cheapest flight for 49 bucks( vs 110) and it was sac-seattle-abq. I know it makes no sense huh

never again, seattle to new mexico was like 5 hours i cant stand sitting on a plane that long yet i can drive 14 hours str8.

Depends on the time of day and which terminal. If its in the morning or in the Intl terminal forget it. If you are changing to a different airline you will be going back through security anyway. If you are not changing airline and its after 10am then piece of cake. LAX is easy on smokers, you wont need to catch a tram to go have a smoke a la Orl, Dal.
