Which Sportsbooks sell their email lists?
I got an email for some NFL Never Lost system or something today, I play at BetUS, BetJM, The Greek, and soon 5Dimes (I have signed up but not posted yet). Who is the likely culprit for selling?

good point. Was a silly question to ask now that I think about it.

Data is valuable, just a guess but I would say a lot of them. There have been rogue sportsbook employees who have harvested info as well.

Don't know who sells the info but I was told ages ago to always use a different e-mail password for your personal e-mail to the one you give these people on the net. If you use the same password to login as you do for your e-mail they can logon anytime they want. Sounds obvious but it never occured to me until i was told.

indeed mike, different pw and un at all sites if possible. I also prefer SSL connections to the sites that have them, though several people on here think it is overkill, and even go as far as to make fun of those of us with a mild sense of security. I channel all my betting though a single address that forwards to a primary address so if it does get to spam laden I can switch and just leave the old rules in place to forward the stuff I want.
