this edmonton team has been just awful lately.
7 straight games scoring 2 or less goals.

i don't see san jose losing their 3rd in a row against the 2nd worst team in the nhl record wise - sharks are going to come out firing on all cylinders tonight.

i usually don't like to lay this much chalk in the nhl but this line is way too short, sharks are 7-1-1 last 9 trips to edmonton.

greiss only gave up 1 goal in each of his last 2 starts (granted both were against columbus)

didn't like that team total for this one. If sj goes over 3 they almost certainly win, but they also have a pretty high probability of winning with 2 or 3.

can't just blindly avoid big chalk, sometimes there is big value on the favorite.

all the oilers are injured, especially the defensemen. they are not deep. also very young team. fading oilers till they get healthy.

To be fair, the shots have been nothing spectacular. Sharks have not looked good this game...not skating. Most of the shots were dribblers from the outside. Mind you Edmonton hasn't looked good either. This has been a badly played game overall. Hopefully, Sharks can get one more soon and then an empty netter, I got them on the PL.
