Loooks like SBR is really pushing the PRO program, pedal to the metal. This change along with point change is big. Having said that, I was planning on going Pro in a couple of months, might go sooner. Really enjoy this site, great forum and can not beat the point system. As for all Non-Pros being idiots/broke, that's a horse of a different color.
