They could make the OT rules very simple with this easy rule change: First team to score 4 points or more in OT wins.

Ot like college would be cool. Except they get it at the 50 for each possession.

Or even better, have a full OT period in the playoffs and if no one wins the period, then it goes to double OT. Only for the playoffs though.

but still think a FG should not sudden death it. imagine a bs fumble like that... well, game's not over. the team would be motivated to get a TD... and the other team would know the game's not over if they can just hold em to a FG.

and that last possession would be epic. can you imagine a couple 4th downs that are converted? THIS WOULD UP THE NFL DRAMA LEVEL TO TEN TIMES HIGHER.

"ONE LAST DRIVE" the OT rules would be called. that's how it should be
