#10You will be back gambling some day, we all have said this. I knew a guy named Nick Gambler from Phila and he had to quit over 40 times and lost over 800,000. He is still gambling today. I am proud of you guy but you will be back in the game down the road. Good Luck to you ace.Comment -

Stay away as long as possible and you probably won't even miss it. Most of here dream of one day we can walk away from this but unfortunately most of us come back.Comment -

#15Congrats man...
Just made a full withdrawal myself. I take losses WAAAAY too personally. As much as I love winning, losing is 50 times worse, and 2000x worse when it happens on bullshit. Someday when I have a larger bankroll I hope to return and lineshop and bet the same amount on every game to grind out a profit... but just doing this on a whim is far too emotionally draining for me, too.Comment -

#17I know how you feel man, I had TN last night for a huge play. 100% absolutely the right side, no way on earth should UCLA have covered much less won that game, sports gambling truly isn't fair sometimes and the game last night left me physically ill and down around 400 dollars. Just seemed like a fukin shame and makes me think the same thing, maybe there is no way to win. Haven't felt that strongly about a game in a year and after watching that first half I was 100% sure TN was on their way to an easy cover, anyone who bet on Craft/UCLA at halftime after watching that first half should be checked for Down's Syndrome but they doubled their money and my wallet gets emptied, just doesn't seem fairComment -

None of my business but, if you're serious, you need to stop hanging around here period.
If someone wants to quit drinking, they don't hang around bars all day.
It's nothing personal. I'm not saying I wish you would leave. I don't know you from Adam. But if you're going to keep reading and posting here, there is no sense pretending you're done betting.Comment -

#33if i had 1 buck for every time i heard a gambler tell me they are quitting gambling, i'd be retired today living on an island with 3 servants, 4 maids, and a limo driver.. thousands and thousands and thousands of gamblers have told me, over 14x each.. nicky, that's it, i am done.. no more gambling for me..
and the avg time they have lasted was 3.6 days.. and NOT one ever did quit.. the only ones that did quit were the ones that ran out of money.. but once they got their hands on any money, they were back..
now, when i hear anyone tell me they are done gambling, i laugh, and hang up on them..Comment -

#35onner, seriously speaking, i am very proud of you.. even if you try.. onner, you have to trust me on this one.. no one here will ever have any chance of making money gambling.. you pretty much have 0 chance..
53% over 1000 games... at 1k a game... you break even
book goes 53% over 1000 games at 1k a game.. you lose 113,000 dollars..
(big difference huh?)
also, it's documented over many many research that book is way more likely to hit 53% over the avg gambler than gambler has. so that hurts you even more.
unless you are a real pro.. jump early on good #'s, have many books to shop with.. you're a complete pro and many other things you have going for you.. then you have 0 chance.. not 0.0001%, but 0%...
you're better off not betting man.. stick to contests.. it's stress free, you cant lose money, only win.. continue posting.. and you will never have sleepless nights again.. go enjoy your money, rather than give it to these fukkin books.. go have a nice steak dinner and treat yourself with something nice for you, rather than piss it away.. which you will end up doing.. mark my words..Comment
