These numbers have stayed the same the whole week. Just curious why every other book offshore and mainland have -7-8 for pats/ravens and -1-2.5 for 49ers/giants just wondering what they benefit by not moving numbers. Obv it favors the dogs but why?

one of the way to handle or control the juice of the game (the best). with static points and moving moneylines, someone bet 14000 on giants +3, best way is move +3 from -140 to -150 than move down +3 to +2.5, a lot of money will come on 49ers at -2.5, if game ends by 3, will push on giants and lose on 49ers for the bookmaker). the expect the game will not finish by 3 or by 9 in both games

Bovada is as square as they come. They are pretty much telling you that they will take the Patriots and 49ers action all day.

They did the same with LSU.

5 dimes has it N.E.-8.5 (+120)and S.F.-1. (-120) I think Bovada is a weak book, but some posters on this site like them because you get better numbers if you like betting Dogs. Do not know the answer to your ?.
