Walton was a good fit in Phil's system before he got all the injuries. Being tight with Kobe helped him get the fat contract and like Houli said, the guy gets great ass. Cool as hell. Another AZ player ballin in NBA.

He's what they call a "Legacy" and because his father was an NBA star will therefore entitle Luke to a certain amount of privilege.

I'll never knock a guy for getting paid. Of course he isn't worth 6 mil but who his dad is had nothing to do with it. Phil and Kobe liked what he did for team and Buss overpaid.

Yes. Kobe absolutely loves him some Luke. So did Phil (although not relevant now). Kobe is more the reason for his position on the pine than his father is.
