    Hedging Vs. Even Money at BlackJacK
    Since everyone here always feel lucky and are greedy, which of one are you more likely to do. Hedging always seems to be the hardest to do because the money's not in your face like Black Jack.

    If you hedge, you bet too much. Bet less so you don't need to hedge.

      Actually, for the Kelly bettor, it is often correct to hedge even if it is -EV. Of course, by hedging, I don't mean fully covering it but rather making the optimal +EG hedge.
