2011 Poker Badge

I see alot of players with poker badges with a ranking for 2011 and then alot of points. It says its for being ranked the x best tournament player. Is this a ranking that is figured out as the year goes that we can check out and also are the points the total amount of points you made during the year, or a bonus for being ranked? Thanks!

points in the 2011 ranking badge (top 100) are points you earned during tournament play through 2011. sbr lou keeps track of all this stuff and posts threads with player rankings through out the year. gl.
