I think the reason it was so good is because alot of it wa beliveable which sounds kinda silly because it was a true story but the way they made it made you realise how a situation like that could happen.

An excellent movie, highly recommend it. Depp is great in it, true story as well. In real life, the guys were so sure that Donnie wasn't a fed many of them didn't even expect to go to trial. They thought the feds were pulling their legs to try to get them to give someone else up, the agent Pistone which he portrays really became Donnie Brasco.

Kinda sad at the end, he left his watch at home and his wallet, he knew he was getting whacked.

Yep, very clever ending, he wasn't resentful, it was like he always knew he was gonna die like that.

Brock, like you posted earlier, there sure was many good lines throughout the movie.
"listen uhh... my friends not gonna take off his shoes Mr. Moto, so why dont you give us a table before I smack you"
"How else am I supposed to open this? OPEN SESAME!"
and many more...

Just bought the entended version today from the local store. Guy says he sells multiple Brasco's a week there. 1997 and still sold out most of the time there.
