This is gonna be like when Josh McDaniels left Tom Brady. It's easy to look like an offensive genius when Aaron Rodgers is your quarterback. Tough division and very unlikely to make the playoffs anytime soon, I give him two years before he's fired.

That's the thing...like most teams without a franchise QB the Head Coach usually doesn't last long with the team.

Perhaps you missed the 480 yards and 6 touchdowns Matt Flynn put up week 17?

this move proves the owners are not all abt flash and want to win, our D is set for the next 3-4 yrs. the O is maybe 2-3 players and a coach away from being contenders

You're right. Matt Flynn, 7th round draft choice who played a handful of snaps in his career set Packers all-time records in spite of Joe Philbin's incompetent coaching. That makes much more sense.

And Tom Brady (6th round draft choice) is only elite because of Charlie Weis.

Good offensive coordinators mean nothing as far as a head coach

I'm sure its another coincidence that the week his son dies the Packers offense completely turns to shit.

Are you implying that there was direct causation from the OC's son dieing and the Packers offense playing like shit? Post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, c'mon man first grade logic, you can do better than that.

Why did the Dolphins fire Sporano in the first place ? He got the Dolphins to play hard and then they fired him.

Yes that is what im implying. You're denying that a team's offensive coordinator being unable to successfully perform his duties would have a negative effect on the team's offense? It's not a fallacy if there's a legitimate connection.

Mike McCarthy calls the plays for GB, not the offensive coordinator.

He's been the play-caller since the day he was hired.

This is the same system GB used when Mike Holmgren was the coach. He called the plays and ran the offense, Sherm Lewis was his offensive coordinator. Lewis was interviewed for a bunch of HC jobs and never was hired.

I would tend to agree, they fired the wrong guy. Ireland should have been fired. This team just needs to find a quarterback, which they can't seem to do.
