    The London Rams

<hr>Not quite yet, but the league appears to be taking another step towards having a team there.

Complete waste of time. One game a year is great as a 'novelty' but there is not enough interest here to sustain an NFL franchise.

Could someone summarize how much interest the NFL garners over there?

I've always assumed its like soccer here, but without the widespread popularity at the youth and highschool levels. So I guess not like soccer here at all, now that I think about it. Hmmm

It has a small but very enthusiastic following. The height of it's popularity was actually in the 1980's which was the first time any game other than the Superbowl was televised.

Coverage right now is very good.

There are generally Two Sunday games shown line on Sky Sports (satellite subscription)
The SNF game is shown live on Channel 4 (terrestrial/FTA channel)
The MNF game is shown on ESPN (Satellite subscription)
Thursday and Saturday games are also shown on Sky Sports

Average viewership is around 120,000 households (0.6%).

If I am not mistaken, viewing figures in Germany are higher than that.

So stupid when i hear this kind of talk. NFL franchises need to stay put in the US. Yeah maybe have one game over there a year but thats enough.
