#37imgv94, I am a Bill Maher fan too. That reminds me to cancel my HBO during Maher's hiatus from HBO.

#39Inexcuseable. It should now be classified as a STIFF job. No credible person could argue that prop bet should be graded no actionComment -

#40I'm not sure if Bill was made aware that things haven't gone as expected so I dropped him a note to let him know where things stand.Comment -

#42Thanks for the update Bubba. It's unfortunate obvious mistakes need to go through multiple Sportingbet checkpoints before they are corrected.Comment -

#43This one wasn’t even ambiguous. It’s not like they didn’t stipulate the conditions so you’d have to try to infer what would be reasonable or standard. They explicitly said the player needs to “start.” He did.
So did they regrade this for everyone, or are they just going to do it on a case-by-case basis for those who happen to know about the forums and complain about it?Comment -

#44This whole Hollywood thing reminds me of Star Trek. Hollywood was assimilated by Sportsbook.com ( The Borg)...Resistance is Futile !

#48Originally posted by Zthernegative. hollywood owners went to sportingbet as an out to a business that was in need of help. sportingebt doesnt want any more licensees because it dilutes its big brands. if tehy bought hollywood they would have just folded it ino sportsbook.com. the fact is that the sbr highly rated hollywood was in a bad position for years and they sought out sportingbet as their best option to survive. makes me wonder about all these other "a" and "a+" rated books because they could be in similar straights and sbr wouldn't even report it.

#50Originally posted by DougIf HW was going bad for years why did they sponsor pretty big contests at TOW and EOG, basically for very few players, and certainly guys that were well aware HW existed without the contests, basically the wiseguy, sharper, bonus whore types. They were a decent book before the assimilation.
and i didn't say they were broke or losing money. the problem with hw was that they were not profitable enough to be on the safe side in this industry. most books have profit margins that are at a fraction of what the big books are at and that's just plain risky. you won't hear about this on the forums because its a side of the industry thats just not well understood.
i aint going to say trust me, but i'll predict that you're going to see more consolidation in the next few years with almost all of the sbr top rated books being the ones switching over to the sbt's and bos's.
