It looks like the levees will hold at this point. If this storm was even a smidgon stronger, it would have been curtains for the levees. If you look at the news and see the water splashing over the wall, you can easlily see why the levees there are wofully inadequate for the job in the future.

it amazes me the un-intelligence or ignorance of an entire city to consider those walls fine.
