I will probably be in the market looking for a new GMC Yukon this summer. Up in the north midwest, the best time to buy a gas gussler is in the summer with zero snow and when gas prices are the highest.

Dealerships arent selling any and they love to get them off the lots so they can put more "green cars" on the lots.

exactly gas went from 4 bux a gallon (highest it had ever been) into a complete free fall. I think the chart says 1.60 or something like that but I know I was playing in the 1.20s here.

Notice how it has steadily been inching down the past 5 or 6 months. Probably spikes up a little bit for a massive cash grab (like they did in 2008) then the bottom drops out again for a few months.

Stock manipulation and gas price fixing are the two easiest and most profitable scams put on the general public. But since everyone needs gas for the most part what can we do about it?
