I just want in the contest, and I want to deposit in the book I am least likely to use in the future. I normally do at least 500 dollars in any book that I open an account, as I did a few weeks ago a la Carib for the 128 man contest. I am only doing 100 for BTP, which book is basically the least desirable so that I won't waste a good bonus/book trying to play BTP? Help and feedback are needed fast, since I am going to deposit tomorrow. Thanks.
Which is the worst book to use for BTP?

#9Originally posted by seaborneqThis month alone I have already opened two new books, Carib and theGreek. I don't need another book, but I don't want to burn a good book/bonus just to play BTP. Obviously if you are just depositing 100 dollars in a book you are not serious about playing with them for the long haul.

Yeah, there's an additional bonus if $250 or more is deposited. I believe more books were added. Don't remember where I saw that. Actually this is the rules page http://www.sbrcontests.com/website/W...pleteText.aspxComment -

#12Originally posted by rjt721With the $5,000 available per week, it's not difficult to surmise developing a good-sized bankroll, and because you will need to complete the rollover, it's certainly not wise to choose a book you don't plan on using often and one that doesn't meet your requirements.
Sorry. A poster looking for the least desirable book, a book you will likely need to place many wagers to complete rollover, is not something that's easy to understand.Comment -

#13I just answered this question in the other forum. The argument about how you shouldn't want the worst book in case you run up a balance is a red herring to me. Anything is possible; you just have to play the percentages and your original thinking is exactly right.
Originally posted by MudcatInteresting question. I saw it and thought someone was just being negative but your reasoning is actually very astute.
My vote would be for Legendz. Full juice without opinination. Low Limits. Small selection. Everything they offer, a bunch of other books do better.
I know a lot of people don't like that Intertops interface but, holy crap, it offers so much more than Legendz in terms of lines/limits.Comment -

#15You know, I gotta say, I may have been too hasty in my dismissing of rjt's point. I keep mulling it over.
The reason I named Legendz is because I do consider it the worst book of the pack. Therefore almost by definition, it is the book where I would least like to have a big rollover. So if I was going to make a minimum deposit somewhere, that would be the place.
But you are almost certain to win some money in BTP - maybe even a good chunk. You start needing to do 5x rollover on a couple thou or something - Legendz is not where you want to be. Crappy lines, low limits.
I can see some pros and cons but, without knowing how many players will be in BTP, I'm not sure how it shakes out. You've got some strategizing to do.Comment -

I don't plan on using it, just there to enter BTP contest. I have 4 books already locked and loaded.Comment
