I would echo some of the comments in this thread. Paul is one of the few candidates that I have ever heard/seen that just speaks from the heart, regardless of what the audience wants to hear. Last night, when Paul was discussing his foreign policy stances, he seemd to be the only one that recognizes the dynamics of the Middle East. Arab countries have long been ruled by foreigners and at the heart of their objective, they just want outsiders to stay out. It's really no different from what we would want, if we were being occupied by outsiders. Paul also recognizes that Iran is not an Arab country, but it's people are descendants from Persia. When the Great Wars occured, Arab countries were eager to denounce the Ottomans and side with the allies as a bid to gain their own independence. The other candidates lump everyone in the Middle East into the same category, but this is far from being the case. If these primaries were to be held in the Rockies on Westward, Ron Paul would be slinging these candidates.
