Pirates got the nicest park to play in, its a shame they put AAA quality teams in there every year. MLB needs to step in and make the Nuttings, that own the team auction it off. They are just grinding out a profit for themselves every year.

They do have a top flight group of low minor league prospects thanks to opening the wallet in the last few drafts...

more wasted money on stupid FA signings then any other team I can think of. mostly over the hill vets, that are trying to get one last contract before retiring. they did have a year where their FA's pretty much ALL had real good seasons. 2003 they got Reggie Saunders, Matt Stairs, Kenny Lofton, Jeff Suppan, Julian Taverez... who all exceeded expectations.
