College football is about running up the score. Got to impress the voters.

exactly. since its so ****ed up the way u run it, if u have a weak schedule, only way for u to get a shot at the NC is to score 100 points a game

people complaining because one team can't stop another team so they have to beg they will go easy on them.... if I was the coach I would be saying make them feel like home in hell...

Since when did college teams ever decided to take the foot off the pedal. It's all about overwhelming dominance and showing these voters how superior you are to the other team. AP and Coach voters usually don't watch the entire game coming from the west coast so the final scores plays a huge factor.

I was at the game and Oregon was simply running its offense -- with their 3rd and 4th string qbs. You guys are showing your lack of knowledge, not only with Bellotti, but with your ignorance of the Ducks. Two of the qbs who were playing in the third and fourth quarter, Masoli and Harper - had never taken a snap in major college football. Oregon's first stringer, Costa, blew out his knee a week before the Huskies' game. The starter, Roper, went out in the second quarter with a concussion. The Ducks are going for a national championship and don't want to be unprepared like last year when Dixon went down and their backups weren't ready. Bellotti was simply running their no-huddle offense, which they run all year, every game. If you paid attention to my thread a week before the game, I said I would Oregon would easily cover the 14-spread. Obviously you didn't and lost.

If you don't want the score "run up" on you, get better players.

his name is mike bellotti and oregon has a huge huge rivalry with washington, this is no surprise to me that they ran it up, rivals do that to each other in college foots
