    Do we gamble to lose?
Types of losses that make your asshole pucker up the size of a decimal point. The anger that we face when we lose is a higher rush than when we win. Let's face it. We always need to remind ourselves we're alive. Even when we win big, of course we all feel great, but winning is never enough. You hit 50k on a solid weekend, its still not enough. This shit is sick.

I def believe gambling is more about the rush than the actual money.

it's human nature, we all dwell on the shot that was missed, the passed that was dropped, the strikeout that cost us the win. we hardly ever see it the other way when we win.

        Yes

We often scrutinize the bad beats but never speak about the lucky breaks.

Another thing- You never have enough money on your wins. But if look at the stock market isnt't that gambling too. Or maybe that's more of a pyramid scheme. But I think boredom has something to do with it. I am more into a game where I have action. With no action do not really care about the outcome.

Deuce what is your bet size? $50?? Maybe $100??

The only rush you will feel the next couple weeks is when the doctor comes back with the results from your HIV test. [For those who don't know, Deuce nailed a black broad this week.]

good post & point of discussion !

gamblers who go all-in and lose (it will happen) arent worried about the $$$ they subconsciously enjoy the feeling of being dejected and seen as a loser because it fulfills their inner picture of themselves. They think they are a piece of shit and losing proves it

The rush from a win is ten times as great as whatever you would call that sick feeling of losing whopper.

Mathy, NHL cap off with Deuce????

Mathy, I could bet 1k a game or use bazooka joe bubble gum wrappers. It's all relevant.

Mathy, no coitus was performed, just fellatio.

Mathy, go play post with the local hamburgers.

JJ always says this and I didn't agree but am starting too. When I know I'm gonna win I just go ahead and start looking at the next games. If I'm down or it's close, the excitement is a lot more than an easy win.

Most of us do, we love the struggle and love trying to fight back and get even

                            Thats the high..the chase

If we won everyday no one would gamble here because then not gambling

Sinner and I talked about this before: Yes there have definitely been times we've hoped to lose a bet just so we could sink as low as possible. Get it over and done with so you can experience the inevitable and then focus on the mission of trying to make it back.

you guys are sick. I hate losing. I dont like losing a chase. I don't like losing an all-in bet. I don't like feeling like crap the next day with why did i do this or that. Winning an easy game is much more fun that losing a tight game. The only issue is when you are continually winning is you get bored with the money down and increase it to gain back that rush.

I have reached the point where the wins don't register and the losses are crushing. I may be too far gone to recover.

I guess I haven't reached that level of degen status yet. I can't get enough winning. I scrutinize my wins and my losses, so I can try and keep a level head during my next bet, as well as have a better chance on being on the right side.

But, yeah, it fukkin sucks when you either have a bad beat or almost get beat when you think you've got the win in the bag (like my 2nd bet today under my name).
